Do More 24

For this year’s Do More 24 event, a 24-hour online fundraiser for D.C.-area nonprofit organizations like ARE that is sponsored by the United Way of the National Capital Area. 

This year’s goal is $15,000; please help ARE stay on top by going online and donating. 

You can also help by spreading the word: a single email or post on social media to your family and friends, near and far, will go a long way. 

Although donations made on May 19 will have the most impact, there is also an extended period of "early giving" that will begin on Monday, May 3 and run until 11:59 p.m. on May 18. Money donated in advance will be included in our totals.

Beginning at midnight on Wednesday, May 15, log on to ARE's page on the Do More 24 website. You can find Do More 24 links on our website, LikedIn, page or Facebook.  Just remember, the clock runs out at 11:59 pm!

Will you help ARE by setting up a personal fundraiser? It’s easy! Just go to our page and  click on the blue and white “Create a Fundraiser for this Nonprofit” button, create your own campaign, and share with your friends and family on social media and email.
